Top stories of the past week
1) “Work work work work work” - Rihanna to the US (probably)
The US added 300,000+ jobs in March - the biggest gain in almost a year. With a 3.8% unemployment rate, the US economy is booming.
2) Crypto CEO arrested in Europe found liable in NYC. Now what?
Do Kwon, founder of Terraform Labs, has been found liable by a jury in Manhattan on civil fraud charges. Do is being detained in Montenegro while both the US and South Korea want to extradite him. Popular guy!
3) NYC is dead-ass shook
A 4.8 earthquake hit the US East Coast and while the epicentre was in Tewksbury NJ (nope, me neither), New Yorkers lit up social media with their survival tales. Those brave souls.
Top WEIRD stories of the past week
1) Have you guys ever been to those cat cafes in Japan? Well, there was a Husky cafe in China where all the dogs escaped in a mall. Run free my brothers.
2) A man who is probably the final boss of Aussies, was fined AUD$600 for peeing in a cup while seated on an Air New Zealand flight. So for future reference, peeing in a cup on an airplane? Not that bad of a penalty!
3) In a move that would be consistent with Borat’s Kazakstan, Chechnya banned music that is “too fast or too slow”.
You like charts? Graphs? Of course you do.
